Aloo Dum Biryani process

  1. Par boil the rice with some whole spices. Keep aside.
  2. In a blender grind the ingredients of masala paste with fried onions into fine paste.
  3. Heat oil in pot add the masala paste and fry till oil leaves.
  4. Add beaten curds fry till oil leaves.
  5. Add in fried potatoes, salt simmer for 10 to 15 mins.
  6. In a large pot put a layer of rice at the bottom.
  7. Then the potato masala layer.
  8. Then add rice layer.
  9. Garnish with fried onions and coriander leaves.close the lid.
  10. Keep on tawa on high flame for 5 mins then on low flame for 10 mins.
  11. Serve with curd raita.
